With a population of 56,000 inhabitants (approximately 90,000 in its metropolitan area), Rhodes is the principal city and a former municipality on the island of Rhodes in the Dodecanese, Greece.
In 2024, SNAP4, in collaboration with UNI SYSTEMS, deployed a Powered by Snap4Tech solution in the private cloud managed by the Municipality of Rhodes. This solution serves as a horizontal platform to be utilized by various companies for integrating diverse vertical systems.
SNAP4's activities included the supply, installation, and configuration of the central smart city platform for the Municipality of Rhodes. The platform's primary goal is to integrate, analyze, and correlate data from different verticals, sensors, and other equipment to enable automation and optimal management of the smart city infrastructure. The deployed infrastructure now acts as a communication channel between information systems, smart city applications, and third-party systems, including those of the central administration.
