While the overall experience is very positive, some challenges remain. Overcrowding in popular areas, noise, and cleanliness issues—especially litter and limited public toilets—were recurrent concerns. Despite these minor issues, most respondents found the city easy to explore on foot and felt that the historic centre is well preserved. The majority of visitors expressed a strong willingness to revisit Rhodes and to recommend it to friends and family, confirming that the Medieval City remains a highly attractive cultural and tourist destination.

Visitors to the Medieval Town of Rhodes generally reported a positive experience, particularly appreciating the city’s historical character, cultural heritage, and unique atmosphere. The Medieval Town remains a highly attractive destination with strong cultural and emotional value.

However, the survey also highlights several challenges related to tourism pressure and urban management. Overcrowding, transportation issues, cleanliness, noise, and aggressive commercial practices were among the most recurrent concerns. Visitors also pointed out the need for improved signage, better accessibility, more public facilities, and stricter regulation of commercial and visual clutter in historic areas.

Despite these issues, most respondents expressed a strong willingness to revisit Rhodes. The high level of interest in predefined routes and alternative experiences indicates that visitors are receptive to more sustainable tourism strategies focused on visitor flow management, cultural authenticity, and the promotion of lesser-known areas within and around the Medieval Town.
