DISIT lab is located in the complex of S. Marta of the faculty/school of Engineering of the University of Florence
You can reach it by CAR:
- we suggest passing from Piazza Giorgini and take via Massaia, instead of using the google navigator directly, put Piazza Giorgini, Firenze as the primary target and then Faculty of Engineering. On the right side, after to have passed the main gate, there is a free parking area. If you booked for a meeting with DISIT personnel you can request the access to the main central part of the parking area, ask at teh gate personnel to open the bar providing the name of the person to which you have booked the meeting.
You can reach us by public travel means:
- we suggest to take tramway from railway station (S. Maria Novella): Line to Careggi, and get down at Leopoldo stop. Then by a 10 minutes walk you can arrive at the S. Marta complex. Shaing bikes and scooters are also accessible in the area to climb on S. Marta complex passing by Giorgini Square/Piazza and then via Massaia.
DISIT Lab in the S. Marta complex is located at the second floor on the right side of the buiding taking your back at the gate.
Most of the large events organized by DISIT lab are located in the ground floor, just on the building taking the main entrance on right side.
PLEASE note that: the access and the visits are subjected to restrictions. ONLY people authorized in advance can enter/visit DISIT Lab/Snap4CIty, so that any meeting/visit has to be booked in advance via mailto:snap4city@disit.org

Il laboratorio DISIT si trova nel complesso di S. Marta della Facoltà/Scuola di Ingegneria dell'Università di Firenze.
Raggiungibile in AUTO:
- Consigliamo di passare da Piazza Giorgini e imboccare via Massaia. Invece di utilizzare direttamente il navigatore Google, inserite come destinazione principale Piazza Giorgini, Firenze e poi Facoltà di Ingegneria. Sulla destra, dopo aver superato il cancello principale, troverete un parcheggio gratuito. Se hai prenotato un incontro con il personale DISIT, puoi richiedere l'accesso alla parte centrale del parcheggio, chiedendo al personale di apertura della sbarra e fornendo il nome della persona a cui hai prenotato l'incontro.
Puoi raggiungerci con i mezzi pubblici:
- Consigliamo di prendere la tramvia dalla stazione di S. Maria Novella: Linea per Careggi, e scendere alla fermata Leopoldo. Da lì, con una passeggiata di 10 minuti, puoi raggiungere il complesso di S. Marta. Sono accessibili anche biciclette e scooter/monopattini (tipicamente), per raggiungere il complesso di S. Marta passando da Piazza Giorgini e poi Via Massaia.
Il DISIT Lab nel complesso di S. Marta si trova al secondo piano, sul lato destro dell'edificio, tornando indietro al cancello.
La maggior parte dei grandi eventi organizzati dal DISIT Lab si trovano al piano terra, proprio nell'edificio, entrando dall'ingresso principale sul lato destro.
NOTA BENE: l'accesso e le visite sono soggette a restrizioni. SOLO le persone autorizzate in anticipo possono entrare/visitare DISIT Lab/Snap4CIty, quindi qualsiasi incontro/visita deve essere prenotato in anticipo tramite mailto:snap4city@disit.org
