Un Hackathon promosso dal DISIT Lab del Dinfo a livello internazionale (ITA)

Una gara fra informatici di tutto il mondo per creare una gamma di applicazioni smart city, sfruttando intelligenza artificiale, analisi dei dati e tecnologie Big Data. E' Snap4City Hack, Hackathon 2019, aperto fino al 15 marzo e che si svolge in con il coordinameto del Disit Lab (Distributed Systems and Internet Technology Lab, https://www.disit.org ) del Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell'Informazione, Univ. di Firenze.

Le mobile e IOT App devono sfruttare dati eterogenei provenienti da tre aree di servizio: Helsinki, Anversa e Firenze/Toscana. L'obiettivo e' migliorare i servizi di mobilità, sociali e turismo, e la sicurezza ambientale delle città, ad esempio con il rilevamento di anomalie, l'allerta precoce o la valutazione del rischio ambientale. Sono in palio 29.000 euro di premi; tutti i progetti saranno ospitati da www.snap4city.org

Snap4City è una ricerca sviluppata nell'ambito del progetto Select4Cities all'interno del programma europeo Horizon 2020, in collaborazione con l'Universita' di Milano e lo spin off dell'Ateneo fiorentino Effective Knowledge.
